Wednesday 20 October WOD

AT THE MACDILL AFB GYM @ 1110hrs:

DEATH BY CLEAN & JERK @ 135/95lbs

Post your highest set and leftover reps to the comments.

Here is how a “death by ____” works: with a continuously running clock, perform one rep on the first minute, 2 reps on the second minute, 3 reps on the third minute, and so on until you fail to complete the required reps. This means that as soon as you start the clock, perform one rep and then rest. As soon as one minute has passed, that is when you perform two reps and rest the remainder of that minute and so on. The workout is over when you fail to complete the required reps within that minute. For example, if you are in the 10th minute and have to complete 10 c&j’s and only complete 9 before the minute runs out, it’s game over and your score is 9 rounds + 9 reps.

FOR THOSE STAYING AT DA VINCE GYM:

DEATH BY KETTLEBELL CLEAN AND JERKS @ 2x 53/35lbs

This type of workout can be done with any movement… death by pullups, death by pushups, death by burpees, death by anything 🙂

Although I must say, named CrossFit wods are scary enough… name one starting with ‘death’ and you’ve created a nightmare!!

uh oh...
