Run 5K

This is the route we have used in the past for running a 5K on base. Feel free to run wherever as long as you get in the distance!

5K Route

This route starts by the bus stop on Zemke Ave., down to the Bayshore Blvd. running trail, turn right on Hangar Loop Drive towards the Base Gym and run to the curve right before the Base Gym track.  Turn around and run back!

    28:30 I know I can do better. The cold wind was not my friend today…

    And to the drivers on base: yield to pedestrians!! Thanks to the car that did finally stop to let me continue my run 🙂

    Going to have to do this tomorrow. Had my cheat meal for the week for dinner and it’s probably not best to go and run hard. I will be hitting my squats though… possibly… might have to do that tomorrow too.

    Me and Dan are running an 8k tomorrow so we did not run this today.

    I did 500 double unders for time. 17:37.
    Then rowed for 10 mins. 2432m.

    Dan didn’t do a damn thing. He came up with some excuse about moving UPS’.
